I don't mean to be so pessimistic and bias and non-conforming with respect to this overly-debated issue of stem cell research especially embryonic ones. Granted, i know i'm not within the area of expertise regarding biology,(hell i don't even hav e means 2 study a degree now) i still feel such pursuits might have severely negatives repercussions in the long term cos sometimes such dire effects can't be seen beyond the near horizon.
Look at climate changes now. It is so obviously happening now and stupid governments/politicians are still getting lobbyists and "scientists" (who are mostly funded by these very same ppl) to claim "nay" to the whole affair. But how can one be so blind to what's around you?
Talk abt denial. Humans are so god-damn short-sighted nowadays. It's a shame. The truth in this case do not hurt humans. It's invisible to humans. If one cannot even know of the existance of something, especially when one don't even want to imagine of such existance, would one be able to be hurt by it?
It does in fact hurt, but hey, guess the human race's masochism pretty god-damn hedonistic.
